 Brewing Instructions

Use 1 teaspoon per 150 ml of hot water and steep in a porcelain cup with a lid and strainer. Adjust the amount according to your personal preference. To preserve maximum aroma, brew the tea in a closed container. In some traditions, the leaves are first exposed to steam to release their full bouquet before pouring over hot water.

Thanks to its lower tannin content compared to teas from tropical regions, Georgian black tea has a milder and smoother taste. You can safely steep it for 5 minutes or more to release all beneficial compounds without unwanted bitterness.
